Interestingly, Juventus have dominated the Italian league in recent years and Ronaldo’s presence is further expected to strengthen their supremacy. Apparently, Ronaldo’s deal with Juventus features in the top 10 most expensive transfers in the history of football.

1 | Neymar | Barcelona | Paris Saint-Germain | 222m | 2017 |
2 | Philippe Coutinho | Liverpool | Barcelona | 120m | 2018 |
3 | Ousmane Dembele | Borussia Dortmund | Barcelona | 105m | 2017 |
4 | Paul Pogba | Juventus | Manchester United | 105m | 2016 |
5 | Gareth Bale | Tottenham Spurs | Real Madrid | 100.8m | 2013 |

10 | Romelu Lukaku | Everton | Manchester United | 84.8m | 2017 |
Evidently, Brazil’s Neymar and Portugal’s Ronaldo are the only players to feature twice on the above list twice.
