The selectors decided to drop MS Dhoni from India’s T20 Squad for series against West Indies and Australia, on Friday, and all hell broke loose on social media. ‘No MS Dhoni’ in the team was a little too much to digest for the fans. The fans made a mockery of the Indian cricket team selectors on social media be it Twitter or Facebook.
All the raging emotions poured out in their anguish-filled tweets and posts on their social media accounts. From vitiating selector’s individual careers (as a player), to posting emotional tributes – MS Dhoni fans had a field day on Friday. Some felt it was the worst decision the selectors have taken by far, while some thought it to be the last of MS Dhoni in the Indian team.

For the first time in his career, MS Dhoni has been dropped from the Indian team, and that’s what didn’t go down well with the fans. Dhoni’s recent batting record isn’t impressive, no matter how crucial he has been for India behind the stumps and helping Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma in their captaincy roles.
