Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah succumbed to an injury during the finals of the Championship League 2018 against Real Madrid on Saturday. It was Real Madrid’s captain Sergio Ramos who pulled Mo Salah to the ground after the ball had gone. Due to this, Salah landed on the opposite shoulder and was forced to leave the ground within the first 30 minutes of the game. Post this it was said that it was said the 25-year-old might not feature in the FIFA World Cup 2018.
However, FIFA has put rest to all worries of the fans as they have now announced that Mo Salah could be fit for the World Cup which will start on June 14. Almost an hour ago, the official account of FIFA gave an update about No Salah’s injury. “Word from the Egypt camp... this man should be fit for the #WorldCup. Post Mohamed Salah’s injury, Sergio Ramos received a lot of criticism on social media. The fans accused him of causing a deliberate injury to the Egyptian. Post the injury, The Egyptian underwent an X-Ray. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp while talking about Ramos’ injury said, “He would have played on if anything was possible. He has gone for an X-Ray but it doesn’t look good.” Talking about their World Cup Games, Egypt will play their opening contest against Uraguay on Jun 15.
