Now, Sarri is once again appointed as the manager of Juventus and ahead of the Serie A 2021-22 season, Sarri opened up about working with Ronaldo. In the interview, Sarri said that CR7 is not easy to manage. "He is a multinational company with personal interests that must be combined with those of the team. However, Sarri also highlights the fact that CR7 will bring in desired results to the squad. However, he further emphasised the fact that Ronaldo represents something that goes beyond 200 million followers on social media. "Unfortunately, there is too much talk about players and little about teams," explained Sarri. The 62-year old was the manager of the team in 2018 but was sacked and now has been recalled by the management.
As one may recall, Juventus had lost the Serie A 2020-21 title this year and also booked a spot in the Champions League on the last day of the tournament. It would be safe to say that Juventus had quite a forgettable year and post this, Andrea Pirlo was sacked as the manager of the squad. Needless to say that, Juventus will be hoping to get better results this year. Cristiano Ronaldo's future remains unknown. He has been linked with Manchester United but is yet to sign the dotted line.
