Last night, team Manchester United played against Burnley at the Old Trafford during the EPL 2018-19 game. Ahead of their game, the players of Manchester United and the attendees of the game, observed a two-minute long silence for 23 people who lost their lives in Munich Air Disaster. The players even wore a black armband to pay tributes to the 23 people who suffered fatal injuries in the 1958 plane crash while a giant banner showing the 'Busby Babes' side lining up for their final match. Families of the victims, who included eight United players and three officials, will attend the game as guests of the club. The team even paid tributes to Cardiff footballer Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson, whose plane went missing while en route from Nantes to South Wales last week.  The pictures of the mourning were shared by the official account of Manchester United.

Meanwhile, the supporters also mourned the loss of lives as they gathered under the Munich memorial plaque and clock on the stadium's main forecourt. The emotional moments had a mix of songs and players for the flowers of Manchester.

Talking about the match, at the Old Trafford, Manchester United ended with a draw 2-2. With this, United continued to remain unbeaten after the inclusion of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The team will face Leicester City in the next game on February 3, 2019.
