Last night, Manchester United locked horns with PSG in the round of 16 for the Champions League 2018-19 tie at the Old Trafford. During the match, the fans of Manchester United hurled a beer bottle at Angel di Maria, who pretended to swig from it. The former Manchester United player was also booed by the fans but he made a couple of assists and made sure to have a wild celebration amidst being booed. The UEFA Chief is obviously demanding answers from the club for such shameful scenes. Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe were the ones to score goals for Paris-Saint Germaine. With this, United was handed a 2-0 defeat by PSG after they remained unbeaten for 10 games. The video of the incident went viral was shared across social media. In the video, we saw Angel waiting at the corner and picking up a bottle.

He further pretends to drink from the bottle and throws it away. Check out the video below.

“Today we weren't at the level, this is a level up from what we have played against. We have had a great run, we came into this game in a great frame of mind, great form, but it's a big step up," said Solskjaer after losing the match.  Manchester United caretaker manager also admitted that his side were shown how much they still have to improve.
