According to British newspaper the Daily Mirror, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is set to be shown the door as the club's board has made up its mind about sacking him this weekend.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid coach had earlier said that it is a collective effort of the team to win football matches. Luke Shaw had described the losses as horrendous and said that the players needed to give more on the pitch. When asked what he felt, Mourinho approved some of Shaw's statements but said that everybody is involved including the kit man, the nutritionist, he along with his coaching staff and his players. United play Valencia on Tuesday in the Champions League at Old Trafford after comfortably beating Young Boys in their opening match.

Senior sources at Old Trafford had dismissed reports that they have spoken to Zidane as nonsense and when Mourinho was questioned regarding this, he was confident that his job is fine. He even declined to answer whether he and Executive Vice-Charmain Ed Woodward had a phone call, merely dismissing by saying it was a private matter.
