Manchester City’s loss to Newcastle United has opened the gates for Liverpool to secure a seven point lead at the top of the English Premier League. The Reds are in action against Leicester City next who are fighting for consistency in top-flight football. Jurgen Klopp knows Liverpool do not have experience of a tittle winning season and hence is cautious with every step his side takes in their march towards glory. Mo Salah is having another brilliant season at the Merseyside with the Egyptian leading the scorer’s chart with 16 goals. The former AS Roma man along with duo of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino form a deadly front three which is one of the best in  Europe. Leicester City will have to do exceptionally well to keep them at bay.

Jamie Vardy has the chance to score his eighth goal against Liverpool and match Thierry Henry’s record of most goals against the Reds. The former England international loves playing against Liverpool and has scored some memorable goals against them in the past. Harry Maguire handed manager Claude Puel a huge boost after the England defender overcame a leg problem and is now available for selection.

A routine win awaits Liverpool at the Merseyside with plenty of goals being cheered at the Klop end by their Red fans.
