Lionel Messi is one of the greatest footballers in the history of the sport. Football pundits, teammates and imminent sports journalist label his as GOAT- Greatest of All Time.  Now, the six-time Ballon d’Or winner went on to surprise his followers by turning up at the local gym and watching the highlights of his own game. He also posed for a snap with his fans who were stunned to see the six-time Ballon d’Or winner in the gym. A local resident Valentina Jure who would work out in the gym daily said that he was quite impressed with the Barcelona star as he was smiling at everyone without having any airs about himself, “He came in as if he was any other. I could not believe it. He used the machines like any other; he was smiling with everyone.” He took to social media and posted a picture alongside the Barcelona star. Check out the tweet below:

Jure also went on to clear the air and said that Messi is not self-centred and is extremely humble. The six-time Ballon d' Or winner is currently at his home town Argentina and will be seen in action for the upcoming game between Barcelona and Espanyol on January 5, 2019, in the La Liga 2019-20 fixture.
