Lionel Messi has been away from Camp Nou for a while now due to his injury. The football talisman is yet to appear for La Liga Season 2019-20 as he is currently recovering from his calf injury on his right leg. Ahead of Barcelona’s game against Valencia, the team sweated it out in the nets with no trace of the five-time Ballon de’ Or winner. Both Luiz Saurez and Messi have not been a part of their training session since their defeat against Athletic Bilbao and remained absent from the training session even on Monday. As per reports, Saurez will join the team on Wednesday. The official account of the Barcelona shared the pictures of their training session on their social media handles. Players like Gerard Pique, Ivan Rakitic, Jean-Clair Todibo, Arturo Vidal and others were seen sweating it out in the nets.

Barcelona started off the La Liga 2019-20 season on quite a low note as they lost to Ath Bilbao by 1-0. However, they made a strong comeback in the match against Real Betis as they won by 5-2.
