Lionel Messi Joins Barcelona After Long Vacation Ahead of the Joan Gamper Trophy 2019 Final Match Against Arsenal

After Argentina’s exit from Copa America 2019, an upset Lionel Messi was on a long vacation for the entire month of July. He was seen letting his hair down with his family and was spotted at the most exotic locations making the most of his offseason. However, Messi now is back to work and has joined Barcelona ahead of their final game against Arsenal in the Joan Gamper Trophy 2019. While players like Antoine Griezmann, Frenkie de Jong and others had already joined the camp, Messi was still on a vacation and was yet to arrive. Messi joined the camp a few minutes ago and needless to say that the fans re quite excited to have him back at the Camp Nou. Check out the video of Messi’s arrival below:

Of late, the Barcelona striker has been in the news for the wrong reasons. It was during the match against Chile that Messi was sent away after his scuffle with Gary Meddle. Post which Messi slammed the South American football body CONMEBOL and accused them of corruption. This surely did not go down well with the association and they imposed a ban on the Barcelona striker for three months and will also have to shell out $50,000 as fine.  Messi was so agitated that he didn’t even come to pick the medal given to the team. The football star will miss international games due to the ban.
