Lionel Messi has had quite a drastic year in 2019. He had already won the Ballon d’Or 2019 for the sixth time in his career. The Barcelona star also created a record for becoming the first player in the century for scoring in 16 consecutive seasons and became the first footballer in the Champions League to net a goal at least once in 15 consecutive seasons.
