French superstar Kylian Mbappe has confirmed that he would be leaving Paris Saint Germain and moving to a different club in the summer of 2024. Mbappe longed to win UEFA Champions League with PSG, his home club but despite playing with Neymar and Lionel Messi in different times of his tenure, he failed to achieve the target. In a video released on social media, Mbappe confirmed this is his last season in Paris and he will make a move in the summer transfer window as his contract has ended. Real Madrid has been one of the clubs who have been genuinely interested in him since he came into the picture while playing for AS Monaco and Mbappe also confirmed his fandom for the Los Blancos. Luka Modric Pens Emotional Farewell Message for Midfield Partner, Says ‘There Will Never Be Another Toni Kroos’.

Real Madrid are the favourites to secure the signing of Mbappe in the summer. They have won the LaLiga 2023-24 and are all set to contest in the UEFA Champions League 2023-24 final against Borussia Dortmund. It can be called a successful season for them and they are set to get stronger next season with the signing of Mbappe, if they are able to secure it. Madrid have completely dominated Barcelona in this season winning both the El Clasico's in the LaLiga and while Madrid are eying a double, Barcelona will end their season trophyless. Amidst this, Blaugrana striker Robert Lewandowski has reacted on the prospect of Madrid signing Kylian Mbappe.

When asked about the potential threat posed by a Real Madrid team featuring Mbappe, Lewandowski told Marca: "It's not official yet, but it seems that all roads lead to Real Madrid. Fear? No, of course, he is an incredible player and if he goes to Real Madrid, it will be a very strong team. But our mentality has to be that no matter how good players you have if we are a team and work together, we can beat you.

"We have to be ready from the first game and the first minutes because Real Madrid will surely need time. They will not play well at the beginning and lose points, and we have to take advantage of it. Not to catch them but to be ahead of them. Like two seasons ago, in which there were games that we couldn't win but that we didn't lose." Concussion Replacements Added for Copa America 2024 Under Pink Substitution Pass System.

Despite Lewandowski's confidence and the retirement announcement of Toni Kroos, Real Madrid will surely be much stronger next season if they can secure the signing of Kylian Mbappe. They already have an in-form Vinicius Junior and an emerging Jude Bellingham thriving under the coaching of Carlo Ancelotti. Now with Mbappe with them, Barcelona's title chances in the LaLiga can take a significant hit.
