Not many teenagers opt for charity, but Mbappe will be donating his entire match salary during the ongoing FIFA World Cup to charity.
The 19-year-old Kylian Mbappe has already shown signs of why he could be one of the greatest players in football history. The French footballer became the first teenager to score a brace in a knockout game of the World Cup since Pele as he achieved the feat during France’s 4-3 win over Argentina. And now, the other side of Mbappe has come to the fore. Not many teenagers opt for charity, but Mbappe will be donating his entire match salary during the ongoing FIFA World Cup to charity.
The young striker earns 20,000 euros per match (approximately INR 16 lakh) believes that while representing a country player do not need money. “Kylian Mbappé will donate everything he earns with #FRA at the #WorldCup to charity. This will add up to €20,000 per game. He believes players don't need money to represent their country. Legend,” Laureus Sports tweeted. The youngster was in sensational form against Argentina as he netted two goals to send Lionel Messi-led side packing. He back to back goals came in a gap of just of four minutes and right from the beginning of the match Mbappe looked threatening.
Mbappe, who plays for Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) in Ligue 1, became the second-most expensive player in the world after he was signed up for rumoured €145 million plus €35 million. He apparently is the most expensive teenage footballer. Last year in March against Luxembourg, Mbappe made his senior international debut for France in 2017.
