It was on the 29th minute of the Juventus vs Valencia, that the referee Felix Brych flashed a red card to the Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo at the first game of the Champions League 2018.  The former Real Madrid gestured the opponent to get up and then put a hand on his head.  This gave an impression that CR7 tugged the opponent’s hair and the referee immediately flashed a red card.  Baffled by the decision and professing his innocence, CR7 was in tears after the card was flashed. Cristiano Ronaldo Sent off but 10-man Juventus Ease Past Valencia. 

This was the first time in 154 games of the Champions League that CR7 got a red card in Champions League games. If Ronaldo gets a two-match ban, he could miss the matches between Juventus and Manchester United which is slated to happen next month on October 23, 2018. Check out the video of the incident below:

CR7 fans were obviously agitated with the decision and they posted tweets slamming the same.

This netizen reminded CR7 about the rules of Karma.

Valencia head coach Marcelino while speaking to the press about the red card said that he was crying and looked upset. "He was very upset, even crying, because he said he didn't do anything wrong. I haven't seen the play which ended up in the red card." Juventus won the game by 2-0 against Valencia.
