Juventus Celebrates Cristiano Ronaldo’s First Goal for the Club With a Video

Cristiano Ronaldo signed a contract with Juventus last year after spending a little less than a decade at Real Madrid. He was signed for a reported sum of 112 million euros. Now, on September 16, 2018, Cristiano Ronaldo netted his first goal for the team. Since then, CR7 has been blazing guns for the side and has played a vital role in the victory of the team. Team Juventus took to social media and shared the video of his first goal for the team against Sassuolo. The team went on to win the match by 2-1. If one may recall, CR7 could not score a goal for the team in the first four matches of Serie A. Tongues started wagging about Juventus’ decision of signing the former Real Madrid star. But, the club backed him immensely and Ronaldo finally scored a goal during the match against Sassuolo.

Needless to say that CR7 was quite happy after opening his account. "I really wanted to score these first goals and I'm happy to have found the net,” he had said to a website. "This is football. The important thing is that the team wins. Obviously, I was a little tense with all the talk of Real Madrid and not scoring, but I thank my team-mates for supporting me throughout. I knew that I was working well and it was only a matter of time. I am adapting well to Italian football, he further explained. CR7 had scored 19 goals during Serie A 2018-19.
