Japan’s preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup will come to an end when they face Paraguay in a warm-up friendly. Though Japan’s buildup to the World Cup has been poor and they have lost three out of last four fixtures this year. In their last outing, Japan were handed a 0-2 drubbing y Switzerland. Prior to that Japan faced defeats against Ghana and Ukraine as well. It was against Mali in March this year, that they managed a 1-1 draw. The victories for Paraguay came against Colombia and Chile. However, these wins were secured last year. This year so far Paraguay has played just one international friendly against the USA, which they lost 0-1.
