Jose Mourinho came up with a scathing attack on his players in the post-match conference as his side's 2-0 win was not enough to impress the fans and manager alike. The Portuguese coach was left fuming as his side put out another slow-paced performance woefully short of any attacking riches. Goals from Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku however, insured the Red Devils march on to the semi-final of the FA Cup where they will face the formidable Tottenham Hotspur.

But just during the middle phase of the first half of extra timer, Pedro put his head to an N’Golo Kante cross with the Foxes keeper off the line to punch the ball and making a meal of the situation. Out of all the top leagues in Europe, the Italian league is the only one which is not a one-way horse with Napoli in with a clear chance to pip Juventus to the title. The Turin side played out a 0-0 stalemate away to SPAL and saw its lead cut off to two points.
