The Hero Gold Cup, is a four-nation tournament that begins from February 9, 2019. The first match will be played today, Saturday, at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. India will take on Iran in the opening game. The tournament will conclude on February 15, 2019.

India is currently ranked 62nd in the FIFA Rankings. Iran is ranked number 44th. India will take on Nepal on February 11. The Blue Tigresses' will face Myanmar, ranked 60th, on February 13 in their last round robin match. The final will be played on February 15.
