Tottenham Hotspurs today released a statement about sacking Mauricio Pochettino as the manager of the club. Jose Mourinho is all set to replace Pochettino. "The club can today announce that Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching staff Jesus Perez, Miguel D'Agostino and Antoni Jimenez have been relieved of their duties," Tottenham said in a statement. Now, Harry Kane wrote an emotional tweet for Mauricio Pochettino and said that dreams do come true. He also wished him good luck for the future. Pochettino had been the manager for the club for five years but Tottenham could not win a single trophy. The team has qualified for the Champions League four times but could not lay their hands on their trophy. However, their performance has declined since February. Spurs suffered an embarrassing defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League in September. The team lost the game by 7-2. Now, Harry Kane posted a tweet and shared a picture alongside Mauricio Pochettino.

After joining the club the former Manchester United manager said that he was extremely happy joining the club.  "I am excited to be joining a Club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters. The quality in both the squad and the academy excites me. Working with these players is what has attracted me." He club’s tenure will be ending by 2022-23. Mourinho is one of the world's most accomplished managers having won 25 senior trophies.
