Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus kicked-off a storm in the football fraternity. A lot has been said about the transfer by former players and his Madrid teammates. However, Ronaldo’s former teammate Gareth Bale’s comments on the same issue might open another can of worms for the gossipmongers to hinge on.

Cristiano Ronaldo has often been alleged to be a selfish player by a section of media, fans and the likes. The following comment suggests that the Welshman took a subtle swipe at his former teammate, talking about his departure, and ending his nine-year association with the club.

As per a DailyMail report, “Obviously, it’s going to be a little different, it’s going to be a little more relaxed. I guess it will be more about the team, working more like a unit than concentrating on a single player,” Gareth Bale was quoted as saying.

Talking about who a better between Zinedine Zidane or Julen Lopetegui, Bale said, “I’m not sure I want to respond to whether I think Julen is better than Zidane.”

The move from Spanish football league, La Liga, to Italian football league, Serie A, raised many eyebrows. Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal for Juventus and fans went into a tizzy! Stay tuned with us for all the latest updates about Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
