FIFA World Team of the Year 2018: Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric, Kylian Mbappe Among Others in the Star Studded Team (See Pics)

FIFA announced its World XI team at their awards night yesterday in London. 13 time European Champions Real Madrid dominate the list as four of their current players were included in the XI. Their ex-player Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Juventus this summer also made it to the list. Surprisingly, there was no place for Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Belgian's Thibaut Courtois, who received the best goalkeeper of the year award in the star-studded team. Manchester United's David de Gea was instead chosen in the goal. Brazilian star Neymar also missed out of the place.

Real Madrid pair Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane were included as the two centre backs with fellow defender Marcelo as Left back. PSG's Dani Alves completes the defence as a Right Back. The Midfield comprises FIFA Best Men's player of the year and 2018 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball winner Luka Modric along with Chelsea's instrumental Midfielder N'Golo Kante. Luka Modric of Croatia Wins FIFA Best Male Player of the Year 2018, Pips Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The attack is full of star players with Lionel Messi playing as a centre-forward in the no 10 flanked by Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard and France World Cup winning teen sensation Kylian Mbappe. Five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has been chosen to lead the attack in a 4-2-3-1 formation. This dream team was voted by 25,000 professional footballers from more than 65 countries.
