In the friendly tie against Haiti, he scored a hat trick, thus helping Argentina secure a win of 4-0 over the opponents on Tuesday. With this, the forward sent out a message that he will be seen at his best this World Cup. Now a while ago, Messi shared a video of his kids Thiago and Mateo where the two cuties were cheering for the daddy dearest and his team.
The two kids were seen donning Messi’s jersey and sung the fan anthem of the team. It started with “Vamos Argentina.”
After winning the game Messi said, “I want to thank all the fans that supported us tonight, More than the result we were able to say goodbye to our fans and enjoy their support. I really appreciate all the love from our fans. We are not going to the World Cup as favorites but we are a great team with players ready to fight against anyone. This group of players have been together for a long time and we really want to go for an important title.”
"We are going to Russia with all the enthusiasm. We will put all what we have on the field as our fans always ask. We are the first ones who want to accomplish the dream of winning the World Cup," said the Barcelona forward. Argentina is placed in Group D for the FIFA 2018 World Cup and will play their first match against Iceland on June 16, 2018.
