The International Football Tournament FIFA World Cup 2018 is all set to begin from June 14 in Russia. While excitement among the fans of different teams is on the rise, there is someone who is training well just as the players. We are talking about the animal psychic of this year, Achilles a deaf cat from Hermitage Museum in Russia. The blue-eyed white cat has been chosen to predict the winners and losers of the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia. Check the complete FIFA Schedule.

On a regular day, Achilles guards the paintings put up at the Museum in St. Petersburg but now has a work at bettering her analyzing skills. Well of course since she has to fill the place of Paul, the Octopus who became an overnight celebrity. But Achilles has proved he's good. He has previously predicted outcomes during the 2017 Confederations Cup. He had correctly predicted the results for three out of four matches.

Take a look at the pictures of Achilles, the cat:

Talking about his training veterinarian Anna Kondratieva said, "Achilles is now in his place of work, he is preparing for the World Cup and going through the adaptation process." Achilles is made to follow a strict diet before the matches begin. People anyway tend to feed him all the time. So all that is now being strictly watched over. He has also undergone a medical checkup. The name of the cat comes from the tradition of giving names of famous painters and mythical heroes to their cats. The snow-white cat will make the predictions by choosing amongst two mice to eat. The country which flag is nearest to the mouse will win the match. FIFA World Cup History: Zinedine Zidane Head-Butt to Roberto Baggio’s Missed Penalty, Most Heartbreaking Moments From Football WC.

For the training, the cat is dressed in a red jersey. He looks at a chart of the teams and game schedules, before, he reluctantly moves onto an exercise wheel. He was chosen to be the oracle because of his ability to weather stressful situations and also considering his love for humans.
