Mason Greenwood has been on the wrong side of the fans after he was arrested by the police over the allegations of threat, sexual and physical assault. He was bailed by the police but that simply doesn't mean that the angst towards the footballer has been subsidised. In fact, many Manchester United fans who donned Mason Greenwood's jersey at one point in time are wanting to exchange the same with other players' jerseys. A report from The Sun read, "The club confirmed that fans will be able to exchange their current shirts for a new one with a different player’s name on." Mason Greenwood had been arrested by the police after the picture so his girlfriend Harriet Robson went viral on social media. She had posted pictures of her bruises and her bloody face on social media and also accused Greenwood of physical violence. Robson also posted voice notes where Greenwood was heard threatening his girlfriend.

The police had arrested him and he stayed behind the bars for three nights. Greenwood has now been bailed and the Manchester United star has beefed up security outside his house. Many stars from Manchester United including Cristiano Ronaldo, David de Gea and others have unfollowed Greenwood on social media. Manchester United even said that he will not be a part of the training session or will play for the team until further notice.
