A speech by Manchester United legend Eric Cantona is breaking the internet. In fact, it got two of the greatest footballers on the planet, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi perplexed. The social media is buzzing with funny memes and hilarious tweets ever since the French footballing legend delivered his “strange” speech at Thursday's Champions League group-stage draw. Now, the man is not new to giving bizarre speeches (remember, his 1995 "seagulls and trawler" speech), but Cantona went a step ahead this time around. French Footballer Eric Cantona was honoured by the UEFA for his amazing career and of course his support to the charity causes. His noble gesture has enhanced people from all over the world to live a better life. The former footballer was in Monaco to attend the event, but what perplexed the people was his acceptance speech after the game. His acceptance speech spoke about Gods, wars and crimes after collecting the UEFA President's Award.

"As flies to wanton boys, we are for the gods," Cantona began. "They kill us for their sport. Soon the science will not only be able to slow down the ageing of the cells, soon the science will fix the cells to the state and so we will become eternal. Only accidents, crimes, wars will still kill us but unfortunately, crimes and wars will multiply. I love football. Thank you." Well, this speech left the audience including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in complete silence.
