Cardiff City vs Manchester City:

Manchester City, considered as hot favourites to win this season’s UEFA Champions League, were stunned at home by Lyon. The manner in which both the goals were conceded will have, no doubt, angered their manager Pep Guardiola who was watching the match from the stands, following his touchline ban. Manchester City vs Lyon, UEFA Champions League Highlights: Man City Suffer Shock Home Defeat to Lyon in CL 2018–19 Opener.

Sergio Aguero should return to the starting eleven after being dropped to the bench against Lyon following an injury, while French Footballer Benjamin Mendy is a doubt. For Cardiff city, Josh Murphy, Harry Arter and Aron Gunnarsson will be accessed before the match, while Nathaniel Mendez-Laing is out for a long time.

City drew the last time they played away from home at another newly promoted side Wolves so they would be hoping to secure all the three points this time around. Cardiff are yet to win this season and have conceded ten goals in their last two matches.

Liverpool vs Southampton:

Liverpool have started remarkably well this season and are in the form of their lives. The midweek Champions League victory over PSG has made a statement across Europe that this year can certainly be theirs and you would expect them to quickly dispatch Southampton who sits 13th in the table with five points.

Manager Jürgen Klopp will provide fresh team news when he addresses the press in his pre-match briefing. His counterpart Mark Hughes has confirmed that Manolo Gabbiadini is expected to be out of the clash with the table toppers. On-loan striker, Danny Ings is ineligible to feature against his parent club. EPL 2018–19 Matchday 5 Highlights: Liverpool Beat Tottenham Hotspurs 2–1, Continue 5-Game Undefeated Start to Season.

Manchester United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers:

The grey clouds have started to disappear over Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United have recorded three consecutive away victories across two competitions. Victories over Burnley and Watford followed by midweek Champions League win against Young Boys have lifted the spirit of the players after an unconvincing start to the season. Paul Pogba scored twice against Young Boys, and Striker Romelu Lukaku is also in good form. United will be without Midfielder Nemanja Matic and Marcus Rashford following their domestic suspensions.

The Wolves are without Ivan Cavaleiro due to a back injury he sustained in the Championship. The forward is yet to make an appearance this season. The newly-promoted side have lost just one of their opening five fixtures and have produced a spirited display against Champions Manchester City earlier this season. Brighton and Hove Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur:

Brighton are unbeaten so far at the Amex Stadium this season with a memorable 3-2 victory over Manchester United earlier. The Spurs, however, are in trouble with three back to back defeats. Losses to Watford and Liverpool was followed by a defeat by Inter Milan in the Champions League.

Florin and Jose Izquierdo have both resumed training and could feature on Saturday's match while Pascal Gross remains on the sidelines for Chris Hughton’s men. The news from the Spurs camp says that captain Hugo Lloris remains unavailable while Midfielders Dele Alli and Moussa Sissoko have resumed training. The Spurs are in desperate need for a win, but it will be an uphill task for them to clinch victory at Amex Stadium.

West Ham United vs Chelsea:

Chelsea are the other side apart from Liverpool to maintain a cent percent record so far this season and head to the clash with West Ham United at London Stadium, brimming with confidence. On the other hand, Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham secured their first win of the campaign against Everton in their last match after four consecutive defeats, easing some pressure off the former Premier League winner.

West Ham have some injury concerns going into the clash with Marko Arnautovic a doubt, but his manager is confident that the striker will be fit in time to face the Blues. Javier Hernandez is out with a viral fever, and Jack Wilshere is out due to an ankle injury.

Arsenal vs Everton:

Arsenal are targeting a fourth consecutive Premier League win when they face Merseyside club Everton on Sunday at Emirates Stadium on Sunday. The Gunners had a dreadful start to the season under new boss Unai Emery with back to back losses to Manchester City and Chelsea. But three consecutive wins have seen them climb up the table.

Everton, on the other hand, were dealt a blow in their last match against bottom club West Ham United. They are winless in their three Premier League games after draws with Huddersfield or Bournemouth. Both the Managers are expected to provide the team news in their Friday presser later today.
