The English Premier League 2018/19 returns this weekend, with many big matches coming up, after the first International break. Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool:

Liverpool will head to Wembley to face Tottenham Hotspur in a pulsating clash between two heavyweights. The match between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur was initially scheduled to be played at Spurs' new stadium; however, due to safety concerns, the game will be played at Wembley, now. Liverpool was thrashed 4-1 last season here, so it remains to be seen whether the former champions avenge their last year’s defeat.

Tottenham will be without their talisman Dele Alli who sustained a hamstring injury while playing for England. Also, they would be competing without their captain Hugo Lloris, who is sidelined with a thigh injury. Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp could provide fresh Liverpool team news in his pre-match press conference later today. Hugo Lloris Pleads Guilty to Drunk Driving: France and Tottenham Hotspur Goalkeeper Fined $65,000.

Chelsea vs Cardiff City:

There's a sense of optimism at Stamford Bridge after Maurizio Sarri has guided the Blues to a hundred per cent start this season. The players have adapted to the ‘Sarri Ball’ very quickly, and it would be a huge surprise to see Premier League's new boys Cardiff City upset Chelsea this weekend as they are yet to win this season.

Sarri has a nearly fully-fit squad with Eden Hazard, Alonso, Willian and company raring to go out and play excellent football. Hence, his opposition boss Neil Warnock has to be spot on with his line up and tactics to cause a huge upset. He has stated that they will not just park the bus against the vibrant Chelsea side and is expecting to put a fight.

Manchester City vs Fulham:

Defending Champions Manchester City will be engaging with Premier League newcomers Fulham at the Etihad this weekend. City, who recorded a century of points last season, has drawn once this season;  so, Pep Guardiola would be hopeful his stars secure full points against the Cottagers.

Tom Cairney will not feature due to an ankle injury he sustained against Burnley. Centre-back Tim Ream is yet to start a game this season, while Neeskens Kebano is also out for Fulham.

Granit Xhaka, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Danny Welbeck and Sokratis Papastathopoulos will all face a late fitness test to see whether they can play any part in the match at St. James Park while playmaker Mesut Ozil is back!

Rafael Benitez is desperate to take Newcastle out of the relegation zone after taking only a point from four games and would be looking to win when his struggling side host Arsenal.

Newcastle defeated the Londoners. Summer signing Salomon Rondon will lead the attack for the hosts and would be hoping to release pressure off his boss.

Watford vs Manchester United:

The Premier League High Flying boys Watford will compete against Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United in the evening fixture, this Saturday. Watford, who are surprisingly unbeaten this season, is upbeat after beating Spurs before the International break and would be looking to add pressure on Mourinho who has already lost two games this season.

Though, Mourinho could provide an update on his availability when he addresses the press, later today, while his favourite Fellaini, who was instrumental in win at Turf Moor, is out.

Marcus Rashford will be serving his first of three match suspension so Anthony Martial would be looking to take his place and impress his boss. Meanwhile, Watford boss Javi Gracia will inform about his team to play in his pre-match press conference later today.
