Argentina extended their unbeaten run in international football as they defeated Colombia 1-0 in a CONMEBOL 2022 World Cup qualifier on Wednesday. Lautaro Martinez scored the only goal of the game as La Albiestece walked off with full points and a spot in the World Cup in Qatar later this year. Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who had earlier pulled off memorable celebrations once again got into the mix when he was spotted jumping and running with the Copa America 2021 trophy when opposition keeper Camilo Vargas was been interviewed. Argentina players celebrated their victory with the Copa America trophy in front of the home fans and Martinez seemed to be very ecstatic with his celebrations. In a video that has gone viral, Vargas appears to speak to the interviewer with Martinez celebrating in the background.

Martinez rose to prominence with his performances for Argentina in Copa America 2021, where his side eventually won the title. During a penalty shootout against Colombia, he was seen engaging in a bit of trash talk with Yerry Mina, saying, "I’m eating you up," before the latter took the shot. Martinez eventually saved the penalty and he was seen celebrating jubilantly thereafter.
