Cristiano Ronaldo has been one of the few footballers who has been repeatedly featured on the cover of the game FIFA which is developed by a popular Japanese company EA Games. However, the game will not have Juventus being featured in it as the company has now lost licensing rights of the Italian club. Which means the fans will no longer be able to see their favourite footballer CR7. With this, as per reports, the company profits have now dipped by 3.28%. Juventus has now partnered with the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) series. Which means PES has the exclusive rights to Juventus’ name, badge and kit for the upcoming eFootball PES 2020. Nonetheless, in a statement released by EA games, it is said that the players of the club will be available but with a fictional club name called Piemonte Calcio. Piemonte is a place in Italy where Juventus is located. FIFA is the most popular game of the EA games. The newest version of FIFA is scheduled to release on September 27. Fans who had purchased the older version of FIFA 19 will still be able to see Juventus instead of Piemonte Calcio. FIFA 20 will be the first-ever edition of the game to not feature Juventus.
Piemonte Calcio will have customised badge and kit, the game will still use real-world players which obviously includes CR7. PES 2020 will launch in the market in September a few weeks ahead of FIFA 2020.
