Along with CR7, his teammate Douglas Costa also grabbed headlines; not for his goals but for his on-field behaviour. Costa spat at Sassuolo's Federico Di Francesco during the Serie A match on Sunday. The misbehaviour did not end here. He even went on elbow Francesco and head-butted the Brazilian. Costa was then handed a red card. Costa’s gestures drew massive criticism not only on social media. Allegri during the press conference said that episodes like these should be avoided and he was surprised by Costa’s actions. “It's only right that he (Costa) is fined, and he certainly will be... I was surprised by his reaction. We have suffered a goal, a red card and a suspension which will be long,” he said to the press.
