This was the second time that manager Maurizio Sarri substituted him from the game and this surely did not go down well with CR7. The Juventus star left the stadium before the final whistle and it was said that he could be banned for a couple of years due to the act. According to reports surfacing online, the Juventus star called Sarri, a ‘son of wh**e’ while he was walking back into the dressing room. Ronaldo was substituted with Argentine forward Paulo Dybala who netted a goal at the 77th minute of the game and took the team to 1-0. With this, the team kept their winning streak going. Asked about the incident in his post-match interview Sarri couldn't confirm the reports, saying, "Disrespectful to his teammates? Like I said, I don't know. If it's true that he left before the end it is a problem to be resolved with his teammates." Earlier he was substituted during the game against Lokomotive Moscow.
