Cristiano Ronaldo’s Ex Nereida Gallardo Defends Him Saying ‘He’s Not Aggressive’ and She ‘Can’t See Him Forcing Someone’

Cristiano Ronaldo has found support from unprecedented quarters in the ongoing saga of rape allegations by Kathryn Mayorga against him. It is none other than his former girlfriend, Nereida Gallardo, who has come out in defence of the star footballer, saying that Ronaldo has always been a gentleman and she can’t think of him forcing himself upon anyone!

Jumping into the defence of his former ex-boyfriend, Gallardo said, “He was a courteous guy - warm and loving. He was always a gentleman with me. Cristiano treated me well while I was with him. He was never ever aggressive towards me - not even near. I can’t see him forcing or holding down someone. He is not an aggressive guy in bed.”

Talking about her other relationships in the similar context, Ronaldo’s ex-girlfriend said, “I’ve had partners who have been verbally aggressive or who liked to grab me hard, and he isn’t like that. So far I haven’t been contacted. But if I am, I would be willing to go and give evidence in his favour.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has denied all the charges made against him since they have come to the fore. Before their UEFA Champions League clash against Manchester United, Ronaldo spoke to the media for the first time since the charges against him have emerged.

Ronaldo said, “I know I am an example, I know 100 per cent, in the pitch and outside the pitch,” Ronaldo said. “I am not going to lie on the situation. I am very happy. My lawyers are confident, and of course, I am too. I enjoy football, my life. The rest, I have people who take care of my life and, of course, the truth is always coming in a first position, so I’m good.”

Recently, a controversy triggered when Kathryn Mayorga accused Cristiano Ronaldo of raping her. As per the Las Vegas-based model, the Portuguese footballer had assaulted her in a hotel room in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009. Mayorga has also claimed that she was bullied into signing a non-disclosure agreement back then.
