After having a mediocre season last year, Cristiano Ronaldo suddenly looks as if he is turning the table as he suddenly looks to have been on a goal-scoring spree. Yesterday during the match against Udinese CR7 scored a couple of goals and scripted history by becoming the first player in the history to hit double figures in all competitions in each of the last 15 seasons. The Juventus star struck twice in the match once during the ninth minute and then at the 37th minute just before the half-time putting the team on 2-0 lead. Juventus 3-1 Udinese: Cristiano Ronaldo Scores Twice as Juve Go Top of Serie A Table.
Leonardo Bonucci was the one who scored yet another goal at the 45th minute of the game. However, it was Ronaldo who stole the show scoring his fifth goal in the last four matches for the Bianconeri. Ignacio Pussetto from Udinese scored a goal but that just didn’t prove to be sufficient for the team to win the game. Now, let’s have a look at the video highlights of the match below:
Last year when CR7 had joined Juventus he had scored 28 goals in 43 games. After winning the game, CR7 said, “The most important thing was to win. This is how we should play, with confidence. Individual performances aren't what matters, but the collective effort.” With this Juventus now stands on number two of the Serie A 2019-20 points table with 39 points in their kitty. The team will next be hosted by Sampdoria on December 18, 2019.
