Ronaldo initially wore the number 9 jersey at Real but took up the iconic number 7 once Raul Gonzalez departed the club following the end of the 2010 La Liga season. During his time at the Spanish capital, Ronaldo led Real Madrid to two domestic league titles, two Copa Del Reys, three FIFA Club World Cup and two Supercopa and UEFA Super Cup titles each. The 34-year-old also clinched a record four Champions League titles – three of which were consecutive – making Real the first club to achieve the feat.

Ronaldo remains the highest-ever goal scorer in Real’s history despite leaving the club for Juventus in 2018. He has scored a total of 450 goals for the Los Blancos of which 311 came in La Liga and a record 105 goals were in European competitions. Ronaldo is also only behind Messi in La Liga’s history of most goals scored. He completed a €100m transfer from Real Serie A champions Juventus in July 2018.
