Ahead of the Coppa Italia 2020 game against Udinese, it was widely speculated that Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri would rest Cristiano Ronaldo for the game. However, a while ago, the Bianconeri announced their 22-member squad for the match which will be held at the Alliance Stadium on January 16, 2020. Ronaldo started off the year with a bang as he first scored a hat-trick against Cagliari and led the team to a 4-0 win. In the last game against Roma, Ronaldo’s goal at the tenth minute of the game led the team to a 2-1 win. The Portuguese forward has 26 goals under his kitty out of 28 appearances. The French midfielder, Adrien Rabiot also got a nod and was included in the team alongside Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi. Juventus will miss the services of Merih Demiral who got injured during the game against Roma. The Turkish centre back was diagnosed with a left knee sprain and injury to the anterior cruciate ligament.
