Cristiano Ronaldo has had quite a tough time in 2019. Not only did he miss on the UEFA Player of the year trophy but also he lost the Ballon d’Or 2019 to Lionel Messi. Now here’s another blow to the former Real Madrid star as he missed out on the list of the top five scorers of the calendar year. Meanwhile, the former Manchester United star scored 39 goals in 2019. He netted 25 goals for Juventus and 14 while donning the jersey for Portugal. Counting the number of goals scored in the decade, this year has been in worst. Ever since 2013, his goal-scoring has deteriorated. The year 2013 witnessed 69 goals in 2014 he netted 57, 57 in 2015, 55 in 2016, 53 in 2017, 49 in 2018 and now 39 in 2019. This year CR7 even lost the Supercoppa Italiana 2019-20 against Lazio by 3-1.  In fact, he was so disappointed with the loss that he even took off the silver medal which was distributed after the match and pictures of Ronaldo were circulated online where he was seen dejected.

All CR7 fans would be hoping for him t have a blistering year ahead. CR7 is currently on a vacation with his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez and his kids. He posed for a picture alongside Santaclaus.
