While everyone is praising Ronaldo for his feat, former Real Madrid star and Italy International Antonio Cassano criticized the Al-Nassr captain claiming that Cristiano Ronaldo is ‘Selfish’.

Talking on the Viva El Futbol podcast, Cassano made a bold claim and went on to defend his argument with examples of other star strikers. The 39-cap Italian international said: "Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't know how to play football. He could score 3,000 goals, I don't give a f***. [Gonzalo] Higuain, [Sergio] Aguero, [Karim] Benzema, [Robert] Lewandowski, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, and [Luis] Suarez knew how to link up with the team. Cassano was the ‘most expensive young football’ during his time and played for many big clubs like Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan, and AS Roma. He was also one of the rising stars in football who retired in 2018. Cassano, in 2022, called on Ronaldo to hang up his boots as he was out of favour at Man Utd.
