Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante is known for his simplicity on and off the field. On Saturday, some of his fans got to witness his generosity first-hand. Having missed a train from London’s St Pancras Station, Kante went to a local mosque and met a fan who extended an invitation to the footballer which he couldn't refuse. Cristiano Ronaldo Cheers Up Young Crying Fan, Greets Him With High Five Outside FIFA World Cup 2018 Venue.

The lucky fan was Badlur Rahman Jalil, an arsenal fan who accidentally bumped into Kante while offering prayers and later invited him for dinner. “I went to the mosque on Saturday evening to pray, and we just prayed together. It’s Islamic teaching to invite guests to your house for dinner, so I asked him,” the arsenal fan told BBC.

“Kante accompanied the fan and his brother to his house and though being on a protein diet he could not resist having a chicken curry. He also beat them on Fifa and watched himself on the weekend show Match of the Day. Badlur then also invited his friends to his place, and Kante spent time with them for almost two hours.

A friend of Badlur, who is a Liverpool fan said that though most of his friends were Arsenal fans, they had immense respect for Kante as a Muslim. He added that they even consider him as their role model and an example of a good human being.

Kante was quite shy to even ask his fellow players to allow him and kiss the world cup winning trophy after France won the final of FIFA World Cup 2018. Paul Pogba noticed this and later gave the trophy to the Chelsea star who embraced it. A Chelsea spokesperson later just confirmed this news by simply saying, “ That’s typical N’Golo.”
