Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi led the 10-men short-list for the FIFA Men’s Player of the Year awards, which also included Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. The 24-year-old was described by City coach Pep Guardiola as the English club’s best player during their title-winning 2018-19 EPL season. Silva scored 13 goals for City in the bygone season and enjoyed his best spell in England but has still been snubbed by FIFA for the Player of the Year Award shortlist. Twitter was extremely disappointed and roasted FIFA for including Harry Kane but not Silva.

Complete Joke
The fact that Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling and some other players didn't get nominated for the FIFA #Thebest but Harry Kane was reinstated the fact that FIFA AWARDS has been shitty for years now. Complete joke.

FIFA Loves Real Madrid
The desperation of @FIFAcom to add ANY Madrid player in their #TheBest list is so so annoying
Harzard and Kane made the list but Sterling and Bernardo Silva didn’t make the cut, make it make sense. https://t.co/UdWKeyXrTB

Bernardo Silva is Missing
Bernardo Silva
Raheem Sterling
Alisson
How are these three players not even NOMINATED for #TheBest?????????
They should be nominated instead of Cristiano, Salah, and Kane in my opinion.
