We all know Sachin Tendulkar is an avid fan of football. He even owns a football team named Kerala Blasters FC at the Indian Super League. Being a fan it is quite obvious that the Master Blaster is keeping a tab of all the latest happenings going on at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. As Croatia play against England later in the evening, Tendulkar posted a video on social media where he said he was supporting England.

The right-hander with a cricket ball in his hand, said, “This time I am supporting England." After a pause of a couple of seconds, Sachin finished his incomplete sentence and says, "In football.” At the end of the video, he playfully kicked the football into the camera. The clip was captioned, “Come on England!! #FIFA18 @JamosFoundation.”

Talking about the FIFA cup match today against Gareth Southgate addressed the press and  said that the team is quite aware of the fact that they have another chance to create history. “They'll be the best team we've played in terms of what they're capable of doing with the ball, and what their individuals are capable of, definitely. For us as a team, it's another chance to create a small piece of history.”

"We've got to keep getting over those hurdles and I know we talked about the success of the younger teams but this is a much harder, much bigger level for the players and the belief is building as things are happening. The more of these tests we can come through, the better, not just for now, but moving forward," he further said.
