Mohammed Razin P, a 12-year-old goalkeeper from Kerala has been selected for Al Nassr Football Club of Saudi Arabia. With this Mohammad Razin became the first Indian player to play for the Al-Nassr side, one of the most successful and richest football clubs in Asia. The youngster will first play for the U-14 side. Ranjit Bajaj, Owner of the country's renowned football club Minerva Academy Football and Cricket Club made the announcement and gave insights into Mohammad Razin P’s journey. Who is Mohammad Razin P – An Indian Player Selected by Al-Nassr?
Born in 2012 in Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Razin P made history becoming the first Indian footballer to be selected for a team of Al-Nassr’s status. Al Nassr will pay Mohammad Razin a hefty amount and provide him with all the basic facilities like accommodation, food, coaching, and education. As per the records, Razin was a goalkeeper in the under-14 Kerala team and was also associated with the Gokulum Kerala Team. He even played for Minerva Academy Football and Cricket Club. As informed by Mr Ranjit Bajaj, Mohammad Razin was a raw talent spotted by Minerva Academy Football Club coach Hussain and was taken under the academy’s guidance. About six months ago, Razim appeared in the trials of Al Nassr for selection of its junior team Under-14 and cleared the benchmark for the selection. With the selection for Al Nassr, Mohammad Razin moved with his father who still works in Saudi Arabia.
