An eventful day six at Asian Games 2018 saw India win across many sports’ events. As per the latest updates, India’s Squash players Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal have assured a medal each, after reaching in the semi-finals in their respective categories. Both the players won comprehensively in their quarter-finals contest and would be eyeing a spot in the Finals.
Saurav Ghosal won against Sandhu Harinder Pal Singh, another Indian participant, in their quarter-finals match. Ghosal marched to Singles’ Semi-finals after putting up a dominant show, where he won the game 3-1.
Earlier, it was Dipika Pallikal who spectacularly won her quarterfinal match. Pallikal beat her opponent in a resounding win as she won the match scoreline reading 3-0. India’s Pallikal defeated Japan’s Misaki Kobayashi to enter the semi-finals in Singles’ Semi-finals.
Earlier in the day, the Indian contingent had a great day at 2018 Asian Games. After securing medals in Rowing, Tennis, Shooting and Kabaddi, the assurance of medals in Squash brings good news for the sports’ fans in India.
