India has won another Gold medal at Asian Games 2018, this time it is in Rowing. This happens to be India’s 5th Gold Medal win, so far in the Asian Games 2018. On Saturday morning, it was Men’s Quadruple Sculls team that won the event by defeating Indonesia, and Thailand who were in second and third positions respectively.
The Indian team clocked 6.17.13 while finishing the event; whereas the second-placed Indonesian team clocked 6.20.58. The third-placed Thailand team had to settle for a Bronze medal, while they finished the event clocking 6.22.41.
For India, the participants were Sawarn Singh, Dattu Baban Bhokanal, Om Prakash, and Sukmeet Singh. The following win comes an hour after Dushyant Singh won a Bronze medal in Lightweight Single Sculls Rowing.

So far, the Indian team has won 1 Gold and 3 Bronze medals in Rowing. Overall, India has won 21 medals, so now, at 2018 Asian Games, in which they have won 5 Gold, 4 Silver, and 12 Bronze medals. India, currently, is at the 9th spot in the latest medal tally and country-wise standings of Jakarta Palembang 2018.
