It was an outstanding day for India at the Commonwealth Games 2018. As many as 17 medals came India’s way and that included not one but eight gold medals. On day 11, which is the final day of the CWG 2018, India will be eyeing four more gold medals. Out of these four, three are on offer in Badminton and one in Squash. To begin with, India is assured of one gold medal as compatriots PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal face-off in the Women's Singles gold medal match. Meanwhile, India continues to occupy third place on the CWG 2018 medals tally. India so far has collected 25 gold, 16 silver, and 18 bronze medals. India’s medal tally now stands at 59. Apart from the PV Sindhu vs Saina Nehwal match, eyes will be on Kidambi Srikanth as well. The number one shuttler will fight it out against Lee Chong Wei in the Men's Singles gold medal match. In Table Tennis India is assured of one bronze medal as well as Achanta Sharath and Mouma Das take on Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Manika Batra in the Mixed Doubles match. Satwik Rankireddy and Chirag Chandrashekhar Shetty will face Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge for the Men's Doubles Gold Medal Match in Badminton. Given the number of gold medals, India is all set to finish third on the CWG medals tally. At the moment, India is ten gold medals ahead of fourth-placed Canada. Australia and England, on the other hand, are set to take the first two spots respectively.
