India’s poor campaign in Pyeongchang Winter Olympics 2018 is a true reflection of everything the adventure sports lovers said in the aforementioned documentary. The Indian contingent comprised two athletes – yes, two participants from a country with a population of 1.25 billion. Shiva Keshavan and Jagdish Singh crashed out of their disciplines respectively without having much of a success. While one can be disappointed seeing the results but what is really worrying is the participation in the flagship winter sports tournament in the country. Maybe, the nation needs to be woken up to its untapped potential. A unique documentary like Curry Pow covering the life and journey of these unconventional sports might make a positive difference in the coming quadrennial games - Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.
