It's a known fact that MS Dhoni has a huge fan base. His popularity is much beyond cricket and the Mahi has impressed people from various age groups as well. One such fan of the Chennai Super Kings' skipper is badminton ace Kidambi Srikanth. After bagging a silver medal Kidambi Srikanth revealed that he is a big fan of the former Indian captain.
On Friday, the badminton ace received a special gift from MS Dhoni and it was delivered to him by the chief selector MSK Prasad. He received an autographed bat from MS Dhoni and the badminton ace took to Twitter to thank the CSK skipper. Sharing the picture of the autographed bat, Srikanth captioned the picture, "Thank you @msdhoni for the wonderful gift and can’t tell how happy I am. This just made my day.🤩😁 #MSDhoni #fanmoment."

It was Srikanth's father KVS Krishna who had introduced Prasad to wicket-keeping. "I would like to inform you that Kidambi Srikanth is the son of my childhood ideal from Guntur who introduced me to cricket, i.e. Kittu uncle.
"Srikanth is a big fan of MS Dhoni. One fine day he has asked me a gift from MS Dhoni. I told if he can reach the top level in badminton, then he will get his gift," Prasad said after handing over the bat to Srikanth at the Pullela Gopichand Academy in Hyderabad yesterday. Dhoni was more than happy to oblige Srikanth with an autograph. "I have spoken about Srikanth's wish to MSD. He was more than happy to hear this and he told me he himself is a badminton player and follows Indian badminton very closely. MSD has sent personally signed autographed bat to my house as a gift to Srikanth," said Prasad on a concluding note.
