Dubai, September 21: Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal once again showed heart-warming gesture in the Asia Cup 2018, while playing against Bangladesh. During the match, Chahal was spotted tying shoelaces of Bangladesh’s middle-order batsman Mahmudullah during the first innings of the match. Bangladesh were in trouble when the Indian leg-spinner showed the sportsman spirit and tied the shoelace of the opposition batsman.
Chahal showed a similar gesture during the India-Pakistan match in the ongoing Asia Cup which is being played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Chahal set an example of true sportsmanship spirit during that match also. During India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2018 match, the 28-year-old on seeing Pakistani cricketer Usman Khan having troubles with his shoelace went ahead and tied it.

The incident took place in the 43rd over of the first innings when Pakistan’s batsman Usman Khan and Mohammad Amir were at the crease. Pakistan were struggling at 162-9, and the last pair was trying to amass as many runs as possible. The Indian leg-spinner was praised for his gesture on social media. Netizens shared his picture tying shoelace of Khan with the heart-warming gesture. India had won that match by eight wickets.
Meanwhile, in the Super Four round match, Bangladesh were bundled out for 173. Ravindra Jadeja, who replaced injured Hardik Pandya in the Indian squad, was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped four wickets on his ODI return. Apart from Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah chipped in with three wickets each.
