Yuzvendra Chahal trolled the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for letting Rohit Sharma interview Rishabh Pant following India's T20I series triumph over West Indies in the Caribbean Island. India clean swept the T20I series by a 3-0 margin after beating West Indies by 7 wickets in the third and final T20I game of the series. Rohit had led India to many memorable victories in the past, while Pant was the Man of the Match in the final T20I game at Guyana for his superlative knock. The pair, therefore, made a perfect pair but it seems like Chahal was a little upset especially after seeing his close friend Rohit take up his position as the interviewer. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma & Ravi Shastri Make This Fan’s Day Ahead of India vs West Indies 1st ODI 2019 Match in Guyana (View Pics and Video).

In a video, uploaded by the official twitter account of BCCI, Rohit can be seen interviewing Pant, who steered India home with a knock of 65* from 42 that included 4 fours and sixes each. BCCI named the interview as "Guyana diaries" Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant unplugged." It also provided a short introduction to the Video: "Two low scores & a match-winning fifty. The Hitman finds out how Pant turned it around in the final T20I."  Chahal retweeted the video and enquired if the BCCI was missing him. Rishabh Pant Reveals Thought Process Behind Batting During Interview to Rohit Sharma, Indian Wicketkeeper Says He Believes in His Basics.

Missing Me BCCI?

The video proved to be a big hit with cricket enthusiasts interested in knowing what went through Pant's mind during the match-winning innings he played under tremendous pressure. But Chahal, whose Chahal TV in recent times has been a very successful show, was disappointed that BCCI asked someone else to do the post-match show in his absence.

Chahal along with his co finger spinner Kuldeep Yadav was rested for the three-match T20I series against the West Indies. He is, however, set to return for the ODI series that begins on August 8, 2019 (Thursday). The game will be played at the same Providence Stadium, which hosted the final IND vs WI T20I game. India clean swept the T20I series 3-0.
