Kohli admitted that he was too tired after reaching 65 runs but he pushed harder because it was needed. Chahal also asked him about his dance moves which are becoming quite popular nowadays. The Indian skipper smashed his 42nd ODI hundred during the match and also surpassed former Indian cricket Sourav Ganguly in the total number of ODI runs. India batted first in the match scoring 279/7 in 50 overs. Other than Kohli, Shreyas Iyer played a knock of 71 runs in the match. The match was affected by rain so West Indies were given a target of 270 in 46 overs. Evin Lewis hit 65 while Nicholas Pooran scored 42 but it was not enough to reach the target. The Caribbean side were bowled out for 210 in 42 overs, losing the match by 59 runs. India vs West Indies 3rd ODI will be played on August 14 at Queen's Park Oval, Trinidad.
